Aftershock by Wren Collective is a modern quilt pattern that looks great with a variety of fabrics and colors. Fat quarter friendly, beginner friendly, and is a pretty fast finish! It is great for larger scale prints as well. Aftershock is labeled as a beginner pattern and assumes maker has basic quilting knowledge.
