Hand Stitched Homeschool Series

Join us this fall for the Hand Stitched Homeschool Series—a creative, beginner-friendly program designed for youth ages 10+ to learn embroidery and hand-sewing techniques while making fun, meaningful projects. Each session meets for three weeks, guiding students step by step as they build skills, confidence, and creativity.

Session 1: Kiriki Embroidery Bats
Dates:  Tuesdays: September 30, October 7, October 14.  Time:  11:00am-1:00pm.  Location:  Alyssum Patch. 213 E. Grand River Ave., Howell.
Learn embroidery basics while stitching an adorable Kiriki Press bat doll—a modern sampler project that’s as fun as it is skill-building.

Session 2: Thankfulness Cross Stitch
Dates:  Tuesdays: October 28, November 4, November 11.  Time:  11:00am-1:00pm.  Location:  Alyssum Patch. 213 E. Grand River Ave., Howell.
Discover the art of cross stitch with a seasonal “thankfulness” design—perfect for displaying or gifting.

Session 3: Felt Stitched Ornaments
Dates:  December 2, December 9, December 16.  Time:  11:00am-1:00pm.  Location:  Alyssum Patch. 213 E. Grand River Ave., Howell.
Celebrate the season by hand-stitching a collection of festive felt ornaments to enjoy or share.

Ages:  Youth 10+.  Skill Level:  All Skill Levels Welcome.   Seats available:  6.  Cost: $75/session OR enroll in all 3 sessions for $200.
