Mini Americana Flags - Beginner Youth Sewing Summer Workshop

Date:  Tuesday, June 9th.  Time:  9:30 am -12:00 pm.   Location:  Alyssum Patch Quilt Shop.  213 E. Grand River Ave.  Howell, MI. 48843.

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with stitches, creativity, and patriotic fun! This beginner-friendly youth sewing workshop is the perfect introduction to both machine and hand sewing.

Students will learn sewing machine basics, including how the machine works, how to thread it, wind and insert a bobbin, and sew safely and confidently. We’ll begin by practicing on paper to build skills and confidence before moving on to sewing festive Mini Americana Flags. Students will also learn simple hand-stitching techniques while embellishing their flags with charming button accents.

The registration fee includes all project materials, as well as use of a sewing machine during class.
