Patchwork & Quilting Class; North Star Table Runner. Session A

Date:  Mondays, May 5, 12, 19th.  Time:  10:00-11:30 am.   Location:  Alyssum Patch Contemporary Quilt Shop.  213 E. Grand River Ave.  Howell, MI. 48843.

Participants will be making the North Star Table Runner over the course of 3 class meetings.  This technique is perfect for beginners due to the use of what is called “floating points”  When the top is finished it can be quilting via longarm or the stitch-in-the-ditch method.  Pattern is designed by Donna Jordan.  Finished table runner measures 13.5” x 59.5”.  

Ages:  Adult (12+).  Skill Level:  Beginner.  Students should have a basic knowledge of sewing.   Seats available:  10.

Participants will receive a supply list upon registration.

Deb Brown has been sewing since 1973.  She has worked on clothing construction, home decor, quilting and bag making.  Deb has taught sewing classes at JoAnn Farbics for several years.  Additionally, she has taught basic quilting at a local quilt shop, and occasionally holds sewing classes in her sewing studio in Howell.
