Quilt Block Sweatshirt Workshop

Date:  Saturday, January 31.  Time:  9:30-11:30 am.   Location:  Alyssum Patch Contemporary Quilt Shop.  213 E. Grand River Ave.  Howell, MI. 48843.

Get cozy and creative in this fun, hands-on workshop! Students will piece a quilt block and learn how to attach it to a sweatshirt to create a one-of-a-kind, wearable piece of art.

During class, we’ll cover quilt block construction, proper placement and attachment techniques, and simple finishing methods. Students will also be introduced to basic hand quilting to add charming decorative stitches and texture to their finished sweatshirt.

This workshop is perfect for confident beginners and up—no prior garment sewing experience needed. Bring your creativity, and leave with a warm, stylish sweatshirt you’ll be proud to wear!
