Quilt Cadets - Fall Session

Dates:  Mondays, September 15 - Dec 15, 2025.  No class on Oct. 20th.  Time:  5:00-6:30 pm.  Location:  Alyssum Patch.  213 E. Grand River Ave.  Howell, Mi. 48843.

Quilt Cadets: A Sewing Adventure for Kids!
Quilt Cadets is the perfect program for “kids who sew.” Over the course of twelve fun-filled sessions this fall, students will work at their own pace to complete exciting, kid-friendly projects while building confidence and learning new techniques.

Designed for ages 8 and up, this program welcomes all skill levels—from beginners to seasoned stitchers. Students will gain hands-on experience with sewing machine operation, project planning, pattern reading, safe and accurate cutting, and a variety of sewing and quilting techniques. Along the way, they’ll complete projects and earn achievement badges to celebrate their progress.

Registration fee includes project supplies and a sewing machine for use during class time. Quilt Cadets was developed by Latifah Saafir Studios to inspire the next generation of makers!

Ages:  Youth 8+.  Skill Level:  All skill levels welcome.   Seats available:  10.
