Weaving Fun & Storytime, Fiber Art Workshop

Date:  Saturday, February 7th.  Time:  11:00 am - 12:00 pm.   Location:  Alyssum Patch Quilt Shop.  213 E. Grand River Ave.  Howell, MI. 48843.

Children will learn the basics of weaving with their adult, and everyone will hear a weaving related story read aloud!

Instructor:  Krista Smith

Krista learned to sew when she was 8 years old; her grandmother bought her a sewing kit, and she was instantly hooked!  Her love for creative arts has grown to include weaving, spinning, and dyeing fibers, and she loves sharing her passion for the arts with others.  She has a background in youth programming and has been teaching a variety of fiber arts classes for the past few years.
