Weaving Workshop, Fiber Arts Workshop

Date:  Sunday, March 8th.  Time:  11:00 am - 3:00 pm.   Location:  Alyssum Patch Quilt Shop.  213 E. Grand River Ave.  Howell, MI. 48843.

Learn the basics of tapestry weaving in this beginner level class! Each student will create their own unique work of art using the supplies provided by the instructor.

Instructor:  Krista Smith

Krista learned to sew when she was 8 years old; her grandmother bought her a sewing kit, and she was instantly hooked!  Her love for creative arts has grown to include weaving, spinning, and dyeing fibers, and she loves sharing her passion for the arts with others.  She has a background in youth programming and has been teaching a variety of fiber arts classes for the past few years.
