Youth Cross Stitch Basics, Needlework Workshop

Date:  Wednesday, January 28th.  Time:  4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.   Location:  Alyssum Patch Quilt Shop.  213 E. Grand River Ave.  Howell, MI. 48843.

Students will learn the basics of cross stitching on a small hoop, including how to read a pattern.

Supplies:  Included with Registration   

Ages:  Youth (Ages 8-13).  Skill Level:  Beginner.   Seats available:  5

Instructor:  Krista Smith

Krista learned to sew when she was 8 years old; her grandmother bought her a sewing kit, and she was instantly hooked!  Her love for creative arts has grown to include weaving, spinning, and dyeing fibers, and she loves sharing her passion for the arts with others.  She has a background in youth programming and has been teaching a variety of fiber arts classes for the past few years.
